Sudanese President says he wont surrender any citizen to court outside Sudan

KHARTOUM, July 21 (KUNA) --
Sudan's President Omar Hasan Al-Bashir renewed his stance on Monday that he will not surrender any Sudanese citizen to a court outside Sudan.

Al-Bashir made his comment during reception of a delegation from Arab Lawyers Union where he added that Sudanese are ready to defend them selves, their land, and wont give in to any type of extortion.

Al-Bashir noted that the problem concerning Darfur is that foreign interference played a big role in it, adding that those who fled the troubled areas were in government and military areas and protection.

Last week, the International Criminal Court (ICC) General Prosecutor Luis Moreno-Ocampo accused Al-Bashir of crimes of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes in Darfur, and the prosecution requested an arrest warrant for him.
